Yep - thats it... If you use that nut in its original location the SS will not line up correctly and BIND / BEND / Leak... I did not use it - only the main bolt and she works perfect!:cool:

FYI - mine failed as well - what I found out after numerious trys to get it replaced - is' got a special number - not the same as the FT streering stabilizer. The reason mine failed - was it was not...

Anyone know a sure fire way of making sure the rear adjustment is level - outside of tooling with it and rechecking multiple times? I have a 6" FT lift and it seems to be lower (body)on one side....

The seats "season with age" - use LEXOL leather preservative (once per month)- as this will keep the leather supple... Leather is natural - and it takes some TLC.

Just a follow up to those interested - Finished...

Just a follow up to those interested - Finished the parts change out relative to the recall. Work performed at Les Schwab Tires - took about 2 hours. The steering is FIXED! No more wandering front...

Dude - had the same problem and it drove me nuts... Installed a 6" fabtec lift and solved the problem... Suggest you look into it - you wont be sorry.
