I hear a single ping/pop after I have driven mine, sounds like metal contracting. I have not had any problems associated with it.

If I keep the RPMs at 2000, I get the best mileage. I agree that if you go over 65MPH- the mileage really drops. Not much else to do but pay the gas bill. Remember you didn't by the H2 for the MPG.

I had a creaking sound. It went away for awhile after the dealer put some extra "padding" around the brake cables where they contacted the frame. Now it is back, it is annoying but I just ignore it...
