some people who have mysterious battery draining issues pull the onstar so it is possible to disable onstar. i would imagine if you pulled a fuse and unplugged a wire it could easily be done....

I think to make it look right you would need the SUT. The slide back design looks goofy to me. I would make it look more like a H1 soft top.

The rear will not raise by itself to level out. most people who have airbags and want to raise the truck 2" or so switch to springs and add spacers. If you want to keep the bags youll have to jerry...

i dont know of that display but if you look at the Average MPG and hold the reset button it will tell you your current mpg.

he never told me what brand they were and since they came in white i think there just generic steel wheels. not sure.

yeah iv seen those but was hoping to not go that route. i like the look of the plate in the spare wheel. ill look into some online fab sites, im sure someone makes a bracket thats what im looking for.

im running 37' goodyear MT on 16.5 wheels with 4.5 backspacing. whatcha wanna know? :beerchug:

the pros of this setup are the tires are CHEAP! and its got a descent tread. so far i like em, but...

im running 16.5 wheel so im not sure if it will fit?

stock backspacing is 5.0, so those wheels will stick in half an inch. if it doesnt work out just add .5inch or 1inch spacers and youll be fine.

your tires will stick out 1.5 inches more than stock which would look goofy IMO with a 12.5 wide tire.
also you will be eating up hubs.

if you want a wide stance get a 4.0 backspacing and a 13.5...
