That's the one. If Ree sees his dealer, the entire bulletin calls for a driveshaft that is longer. (and new transfer case)
The problem is that they made the driveshafts too short and it eventually wears out the tailshaft bushing. In GM's infinite wisdom they designed the tailshaft bushing as part of the transfer case. You CAN NOT replace just the bushing, you have to replace the case. (don't ask me how I know...
)
Actually, on the bright side, I received confirmation from my dealer that even though I purchased the housing myself and installed it, I was getting reimbursed... yeah, liftkit and all.
