Actually Chuck, while that is sound thinking, it is not entirely accurate. First, many HUD type displays use a mirror reflection. So the projector is actually pointing to the rear of the vehicle and is then reflected off of a mirror onto the windscreen.
As in an A/V situation, keystone correction is all that would have to be accomplished and the HUD unit itself might have keystone correction built in. By adjusting the projector and the mirror (think of the mirror of like a curved trapezoid) one might be able to easily adjust it to fit into the H2.
