Congratulations! to ur new Baby. I have to admit I am a bit jealous

simply because it seems that I missed the first train, although I am running after this car for a year or so.
UsCars24? They are quite good. I had these guys on my list as well. Problem is that today even the US imports are scheduled with 10 to 12 weeks... So I figured I might as well get one of the first Euromodels. Although clueless, my GM Dealer can give a really great price and I can trade in my old if haven't sold it by then.
Coming back on the US specs. It seems that it is not so much the TUEV who creates the problem. If you import a US model there is plenty of room to accept certain things, but if you want to make the model ready to be sold big time in Europe the Kraftfahrtbundesamt wants you to make it fit into all our tight European legislations. In some cases this involves the question if a pedestrian can get seriously wounded by crashing into one the tow hooks, regardless of the fact that he gets hurt anyway if I run him over.

But that's Europe.
Anyway on Thursday I expect to get some more news regarding delivery and specs. I'm seriously thinking of taking the Lux now instead of the standard. Too bad you don't have a manual transmission, I really would like to know how it performs. I know automatic is more suited to these kind of cars but for some reason I love manual.
