For what it's worth:

Front Axle Capcities:
3500: 4,800 lbs
Yukon: 4,500 lbs
H2: 4,000 lbs

Rear Axle Capcities:
3500: 8,600 lbs
H2: 5,000 lbs
Yukon: 5,500 lbs

Max Payload:
3500: 5,687 lbs
3/4 T Yukon: 2,526 lbs
H2: 2,200 lbs

Here's the shocker to me: A GMC 3500 Crew Cab with duallies is only 100 lbs heaver than the H2! The 2WD model is actually 200 lbs ligher.

The H2 is just built much more to go off road than to haul stuff. the undercarriage has the same protection practically that an M1 Abrams has. I can't imagine hauling more than 2,200 lbs in my H2.

The approach angle for a Yukon is 17 degrees as opposed to the H2's 42.8 degrees.
