drmiles...

About the only tires that were working out there saturday were Boogers. Your friend Brian had alreay broken a winch cable pulling the Jeep out before we got there. Those are X-Terrains on mine, there ok on the rocks but about worthless in the sticky mud, although they did pretty well until we got high centered. We drug bottom for a good ways and they went until they would not reach the ground any longer. We had already went through deeper soup holes but they still had a fairly solid bottom to them, however I don't know how they will be after the guys running 44" tires get done chewing them up. The property owner said they have had over 6" rain last couple of months and it looked it.

Let us know when you wan't to go again drmiles and we will forsure go back as that soil should dry up fairly fast if it stops raining. The owners are drilling a well and getting ready to haul in some rock for a rock pile. Ron Carter HUMMER is planning a HUMMER happening there either in March or April. The owner said they are getting ready to put in a wash area and will use the runoff from that for a year round mud bog.
