They just got in 10 chrome gas door for the H3

but they are going fast I hear

Thanks H3Lady, I spoke to Dennis this morning and ordered the Chrome Fuel Door and Locking Cap. I have not been able to find them anywhere and Lynch had them for "about a minute" they told me, before they sold out last week.

Did you have this installed at the dealership or did you do it yourself? I don't know how Bachman Hummer will feel about installing something I did not purchase from them (they don't have them or I would have). </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

You can do it. I know you can. If we can do it, so can you. JUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION AND READ IT 3-4 TIMES.

HINT: TEMPLATE - MAKE SURE IT IS STRAIGHT CAN'T GO WRONG HERE WITH THE ALIGNMENT. USE LOTS OF TAPE TO HOLD IT. PUNCH THE HOLES WITH AN AWL FIRST THEN SIZE UP THE DRILL BIT LIKE THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY. ---USE THE CORRECT DRILL BIT -IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THAT SIZE GET ONE, THIS IS ONE OF THE PROBLEMS PEOPLE ARE HAVEING, THE LOCKING NUTS MUST POP IN WITH PRESSURE AND NOT MOVE ----THE FENDERS ARE PLASTIC SO EASY TO DRILL.
NEXT WHEN YOU GET READY TO PUSH THE UNIT ON - DO ALL SIDE EVENLY AND SLOW. PUSH TILL THE RUBBER EDGE TRIM SLIGHTLY TOUCHES THE FENDER WITH THE LIP OF THE TRIM FACES OUT. IF THE LIP GOES INSIDE, PULL IT OUT WITH A PLASTIC PUTTY KNIFE. THEN THE FINAL PUSH YOU WILL FEEL IT LOCKING IN PLACE. A ONE TIME DEAL

ONCE YOU SEE THE INTRUCTIONS AND UNDERSTAND HOW TO USE THE ALLEN WRENCH YOU CAN DO IT.

GOOD LUCK...
