Patriot, you nailed it on the head. On a two lane road you can pass with confidence knowing you can get up to passing speed quickly.
As the Motor Trend article, and many members of this site have mentioned, the vehicle is underpowered for its weight. Even with 316hp stock. To quicken the rig to a respectable pace would cost GM millions and drive the cost of this vehicle out of reach of it's target buying group as an alternative to the street "only" Escalade and Navigator. As I type this it should also be mentioned that I believe GM did a good job with that balancing act. Diesel anyone?
