Generally the rule of thumb with tires is the better they are off road the worse they are on road. As grip increases off road it decreases in the rain on road. I have a set of GY 31" MTR's. Great for wheeling. pretty good in the sand, better in the mud but god help me if I'm on the higway and try to stop quickly in the rain. Dry pavment stopping is ok but it still dosent compare to a set of all weather tires.
