On the topic of whether the Hummer should be reserved for only the off-road enthusiasts, I say NO. Any one that likes the H2 and can afford one should purchase as they see fit. I pick-up groceries and go wheeling with my vehicle, but if another H2 owner only goes shopping with it - fine, that's their business.

I have admiration for all of you that bought American; yes, it still matters.

I've actually beat the heck out of my H2 in the 6 months I've owned it. The wheels have scratches and the entire vehicle has been submerged in mud, snow, and grime up to the door sills.

You make the payments - use it as you like.
