Offset doesn't really factor into things for most people.

Backspacing is the most important if you are fitting wider tires, because you want to fit a new wheel that will be spaced out from the body of the vehicle. You will get a wider track doing this whcih will increase offroad stability but lessen turning radius, but you wont foul the inside or the control arms/springs.

If the tire sticks out too much you may need wider flares, but there are some avialable for the H2 now, so it wont be long.

The stock 33" tire is around 9" wide.
I'm going to fit 33x12.50 Super Swampers on mine , which wont fit the stock rims, so I'll go to a 16x10 with less backspacing, moving the wheels outwards relative to the mounting point.

I think 5" backsapcing will be about right.
