Interesting. I don't recall (although I can't really trust my memory) a "family travel" holiday when gas didn't jump at least a few cents on or right before, at least where I live.
Did you check prices in your own gas logs? I don't record the prices and I'm too lazy to correlate a gas log with credit card receipts to figure out the per gallon prices. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
