Mercedes is no longer what it used to be, but VW is not MB nor BMW, VW is VW. It will be interesting to see how many people will pay $70K to buy a VW Phaston, instead of a S430(poor man's S500), 745 or Jaguar, all nice cars. People don't pay that much money for "parktronic and distronic", they are buying the brand name prestige.
