I would have to check that out. Some BCMs cannot be used in another unit, due to the way they are programmed (some Saturns to be exact). Off the top of my caffeine drenched brain, I would say yes, but again, can't be sure.
It also adds some complications to the dealer when switching parts from a new, undelivered vehicle to a sold vehicle. However, do they have any H3 demos?
I'm trying to figure out why this BCM is on a national backorder. I have not seen any reports stating there is a problem, other than I do know MOST dealers will replace the BCM when it is not failed.
Maybe someone can speak up who works at a dealership that has done this successfully.
Did they ever find the waterleak? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Well I have good news and bad news.Good news is they found a leak in the passenger side A pillar. You know what the bad news is no BCM module yet.Think they should give me some kind of compensation for waiting this long, like maybe free gas for a year. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

FREE GAS FOR A YEAR! LMAO!
I can't believe it's taken them a week to get this far? Are you dealing with a service writer or the service manager? If you have been dealing with the service manager and have already expressed your frustration for the issue and time it's been in there, I would get someone else at the stealership involved. I wouldn't do it in a crying/ beotching kind of way, but would do it in a I'm not very happy with how long this is taking and too many issues in such a short time kind of way... Unless you are feeling you are getting blown off or put aside as a secondary customer.
good luck with everything. That sucks.
OOOHHH< OOOOHHHH> I know, ask for a spare set of TIPS.
