Mr Hank is off the scale

I pretty much lucked out a few weeks ago as a rock about 3 inches in diameter got kicked up by a semi and hit the windshield. I thought for sure it was in for a new windshield but the rock hit really hard while I was going 70 mph and bounced off.

I to A LOT of driving in the Southeast US. Construction traffic, overloaded highways, overbuilt communities all dramatically increase the chances of your windshield and paint being damaged.

Constructuion trucks are by far the worst offenders with loads not strapped down properly, or netting not put over the top of stone or sand hauling dump trucks.

I drive from Orlando to Miami quite frequntly. At least on out of 3 trips I see a lost load.
Two weeks ago it was a load of sliding glass doors. A couple of months afo it was a brand new full sized dumpster.

Sorry for the soap box but unfortunately we all need to start driving a lot defensively in order to avoid stuff like this. It's becoming a real bummer to drive a brand new vehicle on the highway.
