If you expert is connected with Rod Hall do you think his opinion is effected by BFG being a sponsor? I have MTRs and they are E rated for load compared to the D rating of most of the other tires. This probably effects the stiffness of the side wall.

I wonder if this extra stiffness of the side wall would have helped in R2's situation?
