If you are really worried about road noise, and find definitive proof that the Toyos are less noisy, stay away from the Mud Grapplers. I grew up with mud tires, so it doesn't bother me too much, but they are damn noisy.

As for the rubbing, whereas I originally thought that the front tires weren't rubbing that badly when at full steering lock left or right, they actually wore a hole through the fender well on one side within about 2 weeks. I cranked the torsion bars all the way up, which has made the truck sit just about perfectly level, and has elimated the rubbing. The new tires, coupled with the torsion bar adjustment, causes the front end to be a bit "bouncy" over dips and bumps in the pavement...nothing real bad, but just not the original amazingly smooth ride it once had.
