No, that's not right. Alignment on an H1 is difficult but if you take it to the right place where they know what they're doing it's around $300 for four wheel. I had mine aligned under warranty for a hefty $0. Besides, most higher end shops now have the laser alignment machines. You pull in, they place the filters on the wheels and tweak the tie rods until it's in line. It took about 20 minutes to do the front end. Of course, if they don't know what they're doing you're in big trouble. This goes for changing out the CTIS with runflats too.
I go to Cerritos, Mike Sabreeze (sp.)works on mine. He is part of the Hummer race team and works exclusively on H1's. He really knows his stuff. Also, all of the service on new H1's is free 3yr./36.
