Southern California - northern L.A. County. Rohwer Flats (it is NOT FLAT except for three staging areas). It's a great trail over several mountain ridges. Lots of steep ups and downs, loose dirt, sand, rocks, SHARP ROCKS, and even shale. The County signs have it as three diamonds - whatever that means with L.A. County.
Very pretty though. Ended up not going all the way through, so I will be back ASAP!
