<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Anybody have reccomendations for an air horn setup? Just got off the phone with Lynch Hummer and they say STAY AWAY from the REALWHEELS horn!! He said that literally EVER SINGLE horn they sold has came back with problems, usually in the valves. He went on to say that in order to get it fixed you have to send it in and that most are without the horn more frequently than they have it installed. He strongly strongly urged me to stay away from the realwheels horn!!

Any suggestions or aftermarket air horns that anyone has experience with??

Thanks </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I have them installed on my H2. Here is what I have been through:

• First time, Air Horns just went bad during the winter. Sent them in and was without them for about a month, cost me 20 bucks to ship them.
• Got them Back and the new set did not work. They guy never did figure out was wrong with the set I sent in.
• Bought a new Air Horn through Jason on this website, and that was DOA. He took them back minus a restocking fee.
• Bought a third set (I did not learn my lesson) and that seems to work so far without problems. I should point out it’s only been on the H2 for about 3 months.

Another concern if you have an alarm is if the compressor decides to “pump up” in the middle of the night, guess what? You alarm will be going off. Now you have pissed off neighbors…

They are inconsistent to say the least. Well inconsistent in regard to working well.

You may want to look at the post which rodster listed above. Dan has the train horns, which he seems to like. I plan on checking them out this weekend at Paragon. Even those Train Horns were not “turn key” Dan had to do a lot to get them to work well, but as long as they work well now, is all that counts.
