I'm also looking for a GMID. I've contacted a dealer friend, but they're not able to get GMID's? I suppose that makes sense, they're techinically not on GM's payroll. Not sure who to contact at GM either, so that's why I'm posting here. Please feel free to email me if you have any suggestions on who to speak to or if you have the GMID to hand out. My wife (but me even more so!
