That was loosely translated from what the purported Bin Laden said. They only aired excerpts of the tape that was sent to them, not even the whole thing and won't say what's on the rest of the tape.
I wouldn't read too much into Islamic beliefs. It's as varied as Christian beliefs and they simply twist thing to suit their current ire.
