Borla headers are no problem for me! Worked great and installed them myself...
Quality plug wires such as magnecor and a twist of the boot to angle the wire and no problem with wires melting... </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
After the first factory wire got fried, I also replaced all eight with the red Magnecor (#85241), which are supposed to be more heat resistance. I also twisted the coil end so it wasn't leaning on the header but it was still very close and it only took 20-30 miles of driving before the magnecor got fried too. Then I had to buy another set of magnecor because I don't want non-matching plug wires on a fairly new truck, just didn't seem right to me

Plus I bought some header wrap, steel zip ties, and these foil sleeves made especially for plug cable boots and it lasted 50-60 miles. In my point of view, I had to spend another $200+ trying to fix the problem because Borla sold me a poorly designed product
So glad to hear not everyone had to go thru what I had. Maybe the header I got was just a bad one (mis-welded?). But that still doesn't gives Borla any excuse of not returning calls to their customer. What a shame!
