We use them constantly at my bodyshop. Last one we bought was a few weeks ago... almost 200 bucks but when you need one, you need one.
And it almost ALWAYS seems like every freakin' time I need to do something to the H2 (wiring, etc...) and I have to leave the ignition on, that damn crappy GM battery dies in less than 5-10 minutes. Just like my vette was... wtf is with GM's crappy batteries anyways?
Oh yeah, back to the original question, yes, they work great (if you buy a decent one)
