Don't forget guys. A lot of you probably still have less than a couple thousand miles on your H3. As the engine breaks in more as you put miles on it, your gas mileage will improve. Your first few fill-ups with the H3 will have the worst mileage. It should only get better with each tank assuming driving styles are the same.

You should probably put the airbox cover back on. With the cover off, your intake has a much greater opportunity to suck in the hot air surrounding it from the engine bay. Not only will you be loosing power, but your decrease in power will also reduce your MPG due to the fact that your engine will require to do more work in order to meet your driving style. However, an aftermarket cold-air induction system should accomplish what you are trying to do.
