Got my first Hummer Happening invite from my dealer (Demontrond in Houston). They have a couple of requirements.

First is step bars need to be removed. From what I've read here, that is a good one, and the dealer will remove and reinstall for free.

Second is rocker panel protection and undercarriage protection are required. This sounds a bit overboard to me, perhaps the delaer looking to make a few bucks on accessories?

What do you guys think? Will they typically take new owners to places where the protection is required?

I'd like to try wheelin', but if I'm going to have to spend quite a bit of money (and if the danger of wrecking my truck is that great), I may have to pass. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

My dealer never said anything about rocker and under carrige.Man I just have base package with mine.I am going next weekend to my first hummer weekend to.
