When building link suspensions all you find for any actual articulation are heims and cartridge joints. Under fullsizes the cartridge joints wear out the plastic races fast, but the heims hold up.
Of course they will wear faster than tie-rods, but the factory units they put under the HD trucks and the H2 are just sad in size.
Ive never seen a NBS knuckle up close, but I wonder if there's enough material to ream it out to fit a solid axle 7/8" GM tie-rod end?
