Angry XM Radio

OK I finally got my XM reciever installed the way I like(2 hours later).
I'm kinda anal about running wires and crap!
Got it going, and called to get my service hooked up.

The conversation went something like this:

Me: I'd like to get signed up for XM Radio please.
Them: OK that will be $14.95 activation fee, and $12.95 a month.
Me: I've been told by others that there is a $3 a month plan available.
Them: No...We have a $12.95 plan and then a $6.95 plan that requires family members to join(Minimum of 5 activations).
Me: So I can't get XM radio for $3 a month?
Them: Nope...But we do have a $12.95 plan that we can charge you in 6 month increments.
Me: So I can't get XM Radio for $3 a month?
Them: Nope
Me: Well then, I guess I won't be subscribing to your service!
Them: OK...Good Bye! -Click-
Me:
Me: WTF

So I guess new activation are not very important to XM.
I guess I'll be going over to SIRIUS Radio.
