I live on the 3rd floor of my apartment complex. My apartment has no balcony(No outside access for a crane).
My safe weighs 650lbs(empty).
The leasing agent, and their maintenance folks have approved for me to have the safe in my apartment(Weight limitations).
Want to know what a reasonable amount of $ would be to have it moved.
There are 2 flights of stairs, and the stairs are wide enough to move the safe all the way up.
I have been told there is a dolly that is motorized, that safe movers use for cases like this.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

As a Locksmith I do know that they do have a motorized dolly to move safe's. The dolly is made so it can craw up the stairs. As for the price, I think it is to high. As for the cost of moving the safe, I would say $400.00 to $ 600.00 Dollars to get it moved form a Locksmith Shop that will move a safe.
Check with some Locksmith shops in your area and see if you can get a better price on geting it moved.
If all fails, check with a equipment rental company, and see if you can rent a motorized dolly, and get a couple of friends to help you move it.
