Seriously though, I also notice a bit of tire bite in certain circumstances. It scared me at first but I am now used to it. I particularly notice it on newer parking lots, especially if it is damp and I have just shined the meat (errr... ok, I better say tires instead)

I also notice this when leaving a level surface and entering a steep, downhill grade at an angle. If the maneuver is to the right, the driver's side front wheel will bite. I have never had full time 4x4 with Stablitrac so I reckon that the system is reacting to a perceived loss in traction. The Explorer Sport (what I traded for the H3), when locked in full 4x4, would also hop, per se.
I have chaulked it up to the new tech experience and have continued on my way
