Welp, the tea went great- I will try to post some pics one day- maybe later tonite. It was really going great- then I got a call from my Ex.
My daughter had dislocated
both of her elbows on the monkey bars. My Ex is really nice and a good dad but lacks any kind of common sense as far as forms or adult type of situations, believe it or not, I am the responsible one.
So I had to go over there.
She has nursemaids elbow- her ligaments are very lax and when she doesn't use her muscles to pull they dislocate. When she is five or so they should become stronger.
Anyway, I have reset it before but this time it was both of them, I was a little scared to try. So (being Sunday evening) I took her and her father to the ER. The poor thing was scared and hurting bad, it was just so heartbreaking to see and not be able to do anything.
But the doctor was great and he showed me a really good/no fail way to reset it in case it happens again. She walked out smiling again.
It has been a weird day, my mother, the tea, and the ER.
