I hope it's that simple. But I'm not sure that it is. That would be the power supply to the brakes. If you are getting braking upon moving the slider, then you have power. Stud 1 doesn't have anything to do with receiving voltage from the vehicle's brakes.

I think someone else just last week or so had a similar problem but they were not getting any response back out to the brakes and it was because there was no fuse at stud 1.
