Default Re: Anybody have off-road lights mounted on the roof?

I have the SMA light bar on the front of my H3 along with the stock fog lights and grille lights.

I do, however, use lights on my Yakima rack on my 1997 Ford Explorer Sport. I got this Yakima product a million years ago called "Light-Bar Bracket". The part number was 7008 1/91. I don't know if the 1/91 is part of the number, a date, or something else.

Anyways, it is a flat strip of metal, approximately 8" in length. There are 4 holes in it. The two inner square holes attach to the accessory clamps that go around your round Yakima bars. The outer holes are for mounting lights.

Because of the short length of the bar, you may want to have two bars or have the one bar centered on your rack.

Let me know if you want some photos of the bracket or the instruction sheet. I can try to get to it this weekend. (Damn I wish work were 2 days and weekends 5.) I don't use the brackets full-time as my normal PIAA fog and driving lights are on the brush guard. I mainly use it when camping as it provides me extra light at the rear of my vehicle when packing/unpacking in the dark.
