Trailer Tongue -- This is the next boat-trailer component that Greviskis talks about. It's the long piece (see photo, right) that goes all the way down the boat trailer, from the coupler on back. Ok so whats the average trailerable boat weigh? 6000 lbs? So about 4 or 500 lbs tongue weight? My boat supposedly weighs 6500 lbs. I can lift the front by hand.. How is this possible?
