The Gatekeeper is the main character in the game series
Atmosfear. On the video tape (or DVD in later versions), which is required by the game, he appears at random intervals instructing the current or next player to perform some game related action such as: lose a turn, lose a keystone, draw a fate card, punish other players or take extra turns. If none of the human players are successful at the end of sixty minutes of game play, the Gatekeeper automatically wins.
