Option 1. First go to the local weigh scales and weigh your truck with the steps on. Then run home really quick and pull off the side steps and go back to the scales and re-weigh the truck. Subtract the difference between wieght 1 and wieght 2 and that will give you the weight of the side steps.
Option 2. If you do not like option 1 just pull off the side steps and weigh them on the bathroom scale.
