I do a lot of driving (58k on my 05) and the first mod i do to all my trucks is to put on some BFG AT's. They last a long time for an aggressive tire, go great in 99% of off-raod situations, and they dont hum on the highway.
Also, for an off-road tire, they do great in the snow/ice....
