Woman To Stand Trial For Using Baby As Weapon

(KDKA) ERIE A woman from Erie is headed to trial to face allegations that she used her 4-week-old baby as a weapon during a domestic dispute.

Police say Chytoria Graham, 27, told them she had been drinking before she grabbed her infant son, Jarron, and swung him at her boyfriend during an argument in October.

Jarron, who suffered a fractured skull, was treated at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh and has reportedly recovered from his injuries.

During a preliminary hearing in Erie yesterday, the Associated Press reports that a paramedic testified that Graham admitted swinging the baby "like a bat" at her boyfriend.

Graham will face charges including aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and simple assault at a trial.
