Of course teh Scout I had was before any Hummer (civilian version) had come out. Articulation was fair (compared to the other vehicles at the time so comparing it to the Audi A4
is out). The torque was unreal, the tractor sounding engine was unique, and take the top off it was fun.
Being 12 years older and wiser I am not saying I would own one but if my son wanted on I think we could make a respectable ride out of it. And the crash rating... I was hit twice (two days in a row) in the back bumper. First time the Ford pickup had to be towed home (Mostly due to the tubed rear bumper). Second day a Chrysler sedan drove under the Scout till the car had lifted the rear wheels of my scout off the ground. The last one broke my fuels gauge.
