The sub box was not cheap $900
As far as the sound, I couldn't be happier
the sound is loud but clear and balanced with good bass. The bass hits hard but isn't sloppy, I am not a big rap head and I don't plan on entering any competitions,that is why I chose to go with a non-ported box.
Forgot to mention that I have a Hitchcam too, thanks to PhilD at TrailDuty.com, it is invaluable when I have to back up the hitch to my boat. Great entertainment too while you are driving to be able to watch behind you..
