I drive a lot in the snow. Slower driving, the traction control works great in 4 hi. If I pick up the pace, it goes to hell, the traction control makes the H3 understeer and I'll come close to blowing out the corner (yeah, the right thing would be to slow down but....) To go faster in the H3 or to have more fun in it, turn off the traction control to allow the rear end to come out so that you can steer with the throttle, it works wonderfully. I never had the rear end come all the way around, it drifts nicely and controllably with the throttle. Tons of fun (on deserted mountain snowy roads of course because no one else is up there!)
