Have the head fixed and trade it in for a V8 if/when it comes out. I think you'd be burning $$ if you traded it in w/only 15k miles on an '07 when I'm pretty sure a V8 is going to be coming out before your warranty is up. I'm planning the same thing - trade up, but to the V8 in 1 month/year/decade whenever it comes out...
