Step 1 - First you'll need to make a mold of the sensor in the center of the dash. Putty or playdough would be a nice material to use. But we're going to need something really durable for casting the body of the switch in step 2. So I'd get something a heavy duty like PL 500 construction adhesive. Slather it all over the sensor in a glob about 1 inch diameter. Don't worry though, it'll come off later really easy since the dash is made of plastic.
Let it setup for a day. Then I'll post pictures and instructions for step 2.
