to not kill them fast and in a humane way shows you the savageness of the japanese people. They even commit suicide in a slow manner. I'm not aware of any other major culture where there is so little understanding of suffering. The Kosher Laws of the Jewish People going back for thousands of years demand that a food animal not suffer. Hunters in North America always go for a fast kill, and in most if not all other areas of the world the same applies.
