Disclaimer is good and should be taken seriously by anyone purchasing parts.
If ordering from a dealer, the dealer has an up to date parts catalog that will have the latest numbers.
Part numbers change all the time, as well as descriptions on the parts and what vehicles they service. They will change sometimes just because a supplier changed, or GM is commonizing parts between vehicle lines.
I get an updated set of DVDs every month with all the GM parts dating back to 1973, and every month, I see part number changes on parts for no obvious reason.
