Years ago I used to have a show truck with the plate Dan D. It was a play on words...The first time I had it at a show someone told me that it was a mighty "dandy" truck so I got a vanity plate with my first name and last initial. A few years later I bought another vehicle that was also dandy...hence Dan D 2. Kind of corny but it works for me.
