I have one of these disconects hooked up to the ground on the 442.

It sits for months,turn the knob and it starts right up.
It doesnt hurt that I have a 1000 amp interstate battery
I see a optimum battery in the future for the H3,even though I have no problems since original was replaced in march 06 under warranty.
