Bill Burke used that very kit on my sidewall gash in Moab. It held at rock crawling pressure, but when I aired up on the street, the plugs all shot out. I prefer the kits that use the rubber cement to the "special Lube". But it is special. If the gash were any bigger I would have been SOL without a spare.
